The annual Norman Christmas Holiday Parade is set to light up historic Main Street on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 6:00 PM. This year's festive event promises to be a spectacular display under the theme, "Rockin' around the Christmas Tree." Adding to the local cheer, Norman's own nationally recognized musical duo, The Imaginaries, will serve as the esteemed Grand Marshals.
You've seen them co-star and appear in feature films like A COWGIRL'S SONG (Cheryl Ladd, Darci Lynne, Savannah Lee May) and REAGAN (Dennis Quaid), heard their songs in half a dozen Hallmark Christmas movies, on the radio and in your favorite stores... Now come and see The Imaginaries in person as they return home for the holidays on December 6th, 2025 to be Grand Marshals of the Norman Christmas Parade. On the heels of the release of their new album FEVER (featuring collaborations w/ Vince Gill & Joe Bonamassa) and 30+ tour dates across the nation, The Imaginaries join us in their home town to celebrate the Christmas season!
The parade is a cornerstone of Norman’s holiday celebrations, attracting thousands of residents and visitors. Local businesses, organizations, and community groups are invited to participate and showcase their creativity. Registration for parade entries opens on November 1st, with a strict deadline of Friday, November 21st. Due to high demand, the parade will be limited to 60 entries, so interested participants are encouraged to register early. Generous support from our sponsors will allow organizers to award prizes in multiple categories. Participants are encouraged to incorporate music, movement, and lights into their parade entries.

Community members are invited to line Main Street from Pickard to James Garner Avenue to experience the holiday magic. Immediately following the parade, the merriment will continue at Winterfest hosted by Norman Parks & Recreation. Holiday festivities including tree-lighting, pictures with Santa, entertainment, drone show, vendors, and more will be set up along Jones Avenue.
